Looking Back On 2019 - Part 2

FLASHBACK - November 2018

While preparing to head to Ft Myers FL for another show, I was contacted by Melody D.  She would be holding auditions for THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME and wanted me to be there.  I told her I was unavailable as I'd be out of town for all of January and half of February.  I then packed my bags and headed south. (South-EAST to be specific)

Jump to mid February.  Melody sends me an email asking when I get back to Spokane.  Turns out she had a cast member drop out - in the role she had hoped I would have auditioned for back in November.  I got home February 23, and started rehearsals Feb 24.

Beautiful set design and lighting

Rev Peters discussing life lessons with Christopher

I had the best situation for this Community Theater production - less than 4 weeks of rehearsal/tech, playing 6 or so different characters. Great cast, great run.  And I continued my run of multi-roles one one show.

Nick was WONDERFUL as Christopher

This show also opened the door for a Workshop I taught later in the year for high school students -- playing multiple characters in a single production.  More on that experience in a later edition!
